Editorial Policy & Corrections
Explain first, substantiate claims
We distinguish reported facts, calculations, illustrative examples and opinion. For U.S. economic and financial subjects, we favor primary material from agencies and regulators, including the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Bureau of Economic Analysis, Federal Reserve, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, FDIC, SEC and CFTC. A link does not imply endorsement by its publisher.
Dates and examples
Publication dates describe our articles. They do not make an underlying historical event current. Illustrative prices, exchange rates, balances and returns are labeled as examples and are not live quotes or forecasts. Where rules or product terms can change, readers should check the responsible organization before acting.
Publisher archive and adaptations
Some lifestyle material is adapted from the publisher’s Kingdom of Men archive. Reworked articles aim to add context, improve clarity and remove unsupported promises. A story from an archive is not treated as a newly verified event. Images from another publication are not assumed to be licensed merely because the publisher owns a text archive.
Financial and wellness material
Educational articles do not assess an individual reader’s circumstances. We do not offer guaranteed returns, personalized trading signals, diagnosis or treatment. Forex content explains substantial loss risk and product differences. Wellness content should not be used to replace qualified medical care.
Corrections
Send the article URL, the passage you believe is wrong and a reliable supporting source through our contact form. We review substantive corrections and update material when appropriate. We do not promise that every suggestion will be adopted or that a specific response time is available.
Advertising and independence
Advertising, when enabled, must be distinguishable from editorial material and navigation. Paid placements and material commercial relationships should be disclosed. A product mentioned in an explanation is not automatically a recommendation. The presence of an ad is not an editorial endorsement.
